Here's a little bit about myself (author): a son of great parents, a proud dad of four grown children, an ordained Baptist minister (with 31 years service), a former "U. S. A. F. Paratrooper" (82nd Airbourne Division and 18th Airbourne Corps) and retired "Law Enforcement Officer". I consider myself an "Old-Fashioned Bible Believing Southern Baptist Preacher"(With the "Heart" of winning the "Lost" at any cost)!" First, I'm a "Christian" (That's been washed by the "Sinless Blood Of Jesus Christ"), second, I'm a "Biblicalist" (That believes in the"Baptist Faith and Message") and last I'm a "Southern Baptist" (Because of the association & fellowship of individual self-governing Baptist Churches, the missionary outreach of the cooperative program and special mission offerings received throughout the year for the Southern Baptist Convention). When it comes to "Seminary Training", I attended Fairhaven Baptist College (An Independent "Fundamental" Baptist Bible College). I received a B.A. Degree in "Pastoral Theology." "Concerning my service as a minister of the Lord's work"; I've pastored two (2) Baptist churches, have preached in over a hundred (100+) churches, have had extensive "Prison and Jail " outreaches, have been involved with "Youth and Children's Ministries" and for much of my life, have been very involved in "Nursing Home Ministries!" My Motto: "Only One Life Will Soon Be Passed, But What's Done For Christ Will Last!"

My prayer is that all who read this book, "God's Gift of Eternal Life" and also read the special Christian devotions called "Biblical Perspectives", will walk away changed for God's glory with salvation, hope, a renewed spirit of service and a great understanding of God's purpose for them. As the Lord allows, new Christian devotions will be added monthly to "Biblical Perspectives". If you'd like, check out some of the "Links" to this site. You may find one that interests you.
