LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

Bro. Cliff Smith
February 9, 2010

Bro. Cliff Smith came to us here at Sicily Island First Baptist Church during March of 2008. Since that time we have seen Bro. Cliff grow in his ministry and in Christian maturity. Cliff is very much interested in fulfilling the calling God has placed on his life. He is energetic in Christian service and love. Cliff has a heart and talent for writing and God is blessing that part of his ministry in abundance. We have come to love and appreciate the qualities of Christian character that are evident in his life. Bro. Cliff has been involved in several evangelistic and outreach ministries within our Church and community. He has been involved in visitations, street evangelism and preparation for a Tent Revival. His input and support of Church Ministries has been much appreciated. He has also been a great prayer warrior whom can be trusted to pray in times of need. Bro. Cliff is sound in Southern Baptist Doctrine and beliefs,, with a solid foundation exemplary of a true disciple of Christ.

First Baptist Church has been blest with his presence and encourages him to move forward with the ministry God has chosen for him. Bro. Cliff would be an asset to any church which is interested in reaching the lost His stand on the Gospel is firm and secure with a well rounded knowledge of spiritual matters and an easy personality that allows him to mix well in any crowd. When God moves Cliff to continue his ministry outside of FBC Sicily Island, he goes with our blessing, prayers, and recommendation; knowing that God has already confirmed the ministry that is before him.

(Titus 1:9) Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
