"SIN Separates Us From God And Destroys Lives!"
Key Passage: Psalms 66: 18

The word "SIN" is laughed at by the "Lost" in this world. The "Lost", of course, represent the people of the world
that reject the Grace of God in Jesus Christ the Lord. The Bible teaches, that God is a "HOLY GOD!" To make it
very simple to understand, God Almighty is "Perfect" in "All Ways!" God "Can Not" Be In The Presence Of Sin.
SIN separates us from God! We need the "Cure" for "Sin" but without it there will be certain "Death" to all of
us! This "Death", that is mentioned, is a "Spiritual Death '(To be separated from God)." But NOTHING can
separate us from the "Love of God (Romans 8: 35-39)!" Let's look at a couple of Bible examples, on how "Sin"
separates us from God and how God reaches out in "Love", when we SIN:

Psalms 66: 18- "If I regard iniquity (sin) in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:"

Romans 3: 23, 24 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"

Romans 6: 23- "For the wages of sin is death: ... "

John 3: 16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."

* When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden (A Place Without Sin) - God "cursed" the serpent, the
ground, caused sorrow In "child bearing" to the woman, placed man to rule over his wife and cast them out of the
Garden of Eden. But before God cast them out, God killed Innocent (Sinless} animals (Shed their Blood} to cover
their "SIN" with coats of skins (The Fig Leaves were not to God's Satisfaction).
[Genesis Chapter 3; Hebrews 1 0: 1-18]

Hebrews 9: 22- " ... and without the shedding of blood Is no remission (Of Sin)."

* When the sons of Adam sacrificed unto God (Cain and Abel) - God had Respect or Blessing on Abel's sacrifice
unto God. Most Bible scholars believe, that Adam Instructed both of his sons on the exact way to sacrifice unto
God. Just as Abel did, by choosing the "Best" from the flock of his sheep. He prepared the altar with stones and
shed the innocent blood of the animal to cover his sins. All of this, was through "Believing" in "Faith" in the
Messiah, that would one day be the "Perfect Sacrifice"- Jesus Christ the Lord. God had No Respect or No
Blessing on Cain's sacrifice unto God. Cain, Instead of following the instructions of his father, decided to sacrifice
unto God "His Own Way." He took the vegetables of his garden(Probably his best} to sacrifice unto God. But his
Best, wasn't Good Enough to satisfy God. The Bible teaches, that Only by the shedding of innocent (Sinless
Blood) is there forgiveness of Sin. Even after Cain's sacrifice was refused, God offered him a lamb to sacrifice
(Gave him a Second Chance), but Cain refused the offer. Later that day, Cain being angry at God; killed his
brother Abel.[Genesis Chapter 4]

Sin comes in many shapes and sizes. It can be done outwardly and inwardly. "SIN" is "SIN"! You may try to
"Sugar Coat" it and you may try to make excuses for it, but in the end, it's "Just Sin or Wrong!" I've noticed, that
"Sin" Convicts, Conceals, Corrupts, Chains and finally Crushes everything that it touches ! It reminds me, of what
"Rust" does to "Metal." When rust in on metal, you must grind all of it off, before you paint it (If you don't, it will
penetrate and spread throughout the metal -just like "Cancer" does to humans). Yes, "Sin" is referred to as a
disease today, because it is so destructive to everyone. It doesn't matter how much money, education, fame or
skills that you may have in this life. We were all born with the "Nature of Sin" in us (It's in our D.N.A.). It doesn't
matter how Good, that you think you are, because your Goodness is "Not Good Enough" for GOD'S
RIGHTEOUSNESS! That's why mankind must have a "Savior!" Jesus Christ the Lord is the Only Savior for our
lost and undeserving souls! He was the "Perfect Sacrifice" for our Sins on the "Cross of Calvary!" Jesus shed his
"Sinless" blood to purged and wash our sins away!

Romans 3:10- "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

There's an old saying that says, "Where There's Smoke, There's Fire!" Another saying says, "If You Play With
Fire, You're Going To Get Burned!" These sayings are referring to "Sin." Everyone should know the results of
what happens, when you play with "Sin!", but most people don't believe, that it will ever effect them. Let's look at
some examples of this:

*Alcohol (All forms)- can cause an addiction, violence and health problems.
*Over-Eating, Under-Eating, Eating Foods Poisonous to your body- can cause health problems.
*Bitterness, Hate, Jealousy, Pride- can cause a world of crimes.
*Lying and Deceit- can cause "Dis-Trust", which is a great moral problem ("Trust" is everything in life!).
*Prayerlessness- can cause many people to "Burn in the Lake of Fire."
*There's just too many to mention (It goes on and on).

Hebrews 10: 31 -"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God."

James 4: 17- "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

I Timothy 2: 5- "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

I John 1: 9 - "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness."

Hebrews 1: 3 - "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the

Majesty on high;"

In closing, "Praise the Lord", we can call out to Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sins. I've noticed in life, that
there's a high percentage of people, that refuse to admit, that they are ever 'Wrong" or to ever say the words, "I'm
Sorry!" All I can say, that if you want to live in "Sin", I hope, that you're willing to pay the consequences of it! In
my opinion, you can "Mark It Down", that every "Truly Guilty" person in prison, allowed "Sin" to takeover his/her
life. But there are also many prisons, that are in the hearts and minds of mankind. "Sin" always starts "Small" and
if not brought before the Lord Jesus Christ (By seeking God's Forgiveness- with a Pure Heart), it will grow into a
"Monster." It will eventually control and destroy your life. But sadly, your sin will effect everybody, that you come
in contact with in life (Not All, But Some Will Fall Into Sin). "PLEASE, GET RIGHT WITH GOD ON A DAILY
BASIS AND WHENEVER THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTS YOU OF SIN!!"

The End!!!
